I'm a specialist fundraising consultant and I believe great fundraising begins with great projects.

I work with charities - individually and in partnership with others - to design sustainable, high impact projects that win funding in a competitive environment. My work combines bid writing, fundraising strategy and partnership development. Most of my clients are infrastructure bodies, membership networks and consortia but I do the same strategic work for single organisations: funding strategy, funder research and positioning, programme design, bid development.

Since 2015 I've helped over 30 charities across the globe raise more than £30m, including £14.5m for partnership projects.

I’m Chris Richardson-Wright - nice to meet you! My background combines fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and programme design, with charities in the UK and internationally. I work independently, and with a small number of trusted consultant partners when a job needs more than one of me. I live in Spain with my partner, and when I'm not working you'll find me hiking, reading, or under/over-exposing film on my vintage camera.
